WACOSA was awarded a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board to fund classes in partnership with six local artists and the Paramount Arts Center. This grant will provide classes in watercolor, photography, drawing, ceramics, music and movement to 60 adults with disabilities. These classes will take place over the course of the next year. Adults with disabilities often face barriers to activities that most enjoy in everyday life. This grant helps our clients overcome these barriers so they are able to enjoy the arts. WACOSA is grateful for our partnership with the Minnesota State Arts Board, the local artists and the Paramount Arts Center for their commitment to people with disabilities and fine arts.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
